PHOTOGRAPHIC TRIP TO BIALOWIEZA

Accompanied by native guides, we will travel in 4×4 vehicles and in the middle of winter through this protected area, always surrounded by birch, alder, beech and oak trees of several centuries of age, and sharing the space with the largest land mammal of our continent: the European bison. We will enjoy exciting waits in hides, from where we will be able to photograph eagles, goshawks, buzzards and forest birds, as well as deer, foxes, wild boars and, with the same luck as in previous years, the desired wolf.

Travel itinerary

February 18

We will fly from our home city to Warsaw. We will be picked up at the airport and drive to the town of Białowieża, right on the border with Belarus, a journey of about 4 hours. In the afternoon we will do a briefing to make two groups of 4 people, for the next 5 days of photography.

February 19

Group 1 will get into the hide early in the morning for European Pigargo, about 11 hours, until sunset. Group 2 will go on safari to look for and photograph mainly European bison, with the possibility of photographing deer, roe deer, fox and even wolf.

We will do it the other way around: group 1 will go on safari and group 2 will go to the eagle hide.

Group 1 will go to the buzzard and goshawk hide, while group 2 will go on safari again in search of photographic opportunities.

Group 1 will go on their second safari, and group 2 will go into the woodpecker and forest bird hide.
