    Oscar Díez

Born in Madrid on July 22, 1973, since I was a child I have always been enthusiastic about animals and their world, but it wasn’t until 2002 that I started photographing them.

It was during my first trip, which was to Kenya and until today I have not stopped photographing them, with an analog reflex. In April 2005 I bought my first digital camera and that’s when I really started to get satisfactory results from my work.

My specialty and what I like the most are birds and then the high mountains, which has made me a versatile photographer, since I do not waste any opportunity that nature gives me to capture the best moments of wildlife and their habitats, specializing in photographic trips around the world, I have been traveling for over 10 years through all types of ecosystems.

Totally self-taught, everything I know, I have learned in the field and nature. With the teachings of great photographers and now friends, and studying the behavior of birds, dedicating as much time as I can, I have achieved gratifying results for me. I think that going out into the field and getting into a hide” seeing everything without being seen by the environment around you, is one of the best feelings in life.

Author of a book and awarded in many national and international nature photography contests.

Member of AEFONA (Spanish Association of Nature Photographers), Member of FONAMAD (Association of Nature Photographers of Madrid).

He progresses over the years diversifying the type of photography he does, while wildlife remains an important part of the photographic time, he begins to devote considerable time to other disciplines such as macro and landscape. Since 2005 he has also started to make photographic trips around the world, visiting four continents. A member of AEFONA and SEO, he is fluent in Spanish and English.

    TRAVEL GUIDE - PHOTOGRAPHER

    Daniel Jara

I have been photographing nature for more than 20 years. I consider myself very perfectionist and tidy, being very meticulous and demanding with compositions, focus and processing.

I am passionate about traveling with my photographic equipment through the different natural spaces around the world to get to know their amazing nature, and look for that magical light that makes many images so special.

I photograph landscapes and wildlife with all the sensitivity that deserves a natural world that is disappearing and we have to take care of. I hope that my images serve to show the natural wonders of our fragile planet, and to help raise awareness of the importance of protecting and respecting nature.

I have been awarded several times in different prestigious Spanish and international nature contests.

    TRAVEL GUIDE - PHOTOGRAPHER

    Fotógrafo Egoitz Ikaza González

    Egoitz Ikaza González

Since he started in the world of nature photography at the age of seven, Egoitz Icaza (born in 1997) has accumulated on the other side of the viewfinder hundreds of species, landscapes and stories focused mainly on bird photography, although he never misses the opportunity to portray any animal species that crosses in front of his eyes and his camera.

Through his images, Egoitz tries to show and highlight the importance of those species that live in our immediate environment, as a way of knowledge and appreciation of the natural spaces that surround us. However, at the age of 24, he has traveled to some of the most incredible and emblematic places on the planet, such as the African savannah, the Alps, Morocco…

As he has grown up, Egoitz has been perfecting his technique, to the point of leaving aside the more documentary photography to pursue the goal of giving each image a distinctive fact, that something that can make the difference between what is an attractive image and another really shocking one.

At the age of 20, he had the pleasure to start collaborating with the Olympus brand by testing their equipment. The result was so satisfactory that he decided to switch to Olympus. At the same time, he had the opportunity to be a speaker at different fairs and events related to nature tourism, both nationally and internationally, among which Montphoto is worth mentioning.

    TRAVEL GUIDE - PHOTOGRAPHER

    Rafa Fernández Caballero

I was born in Madrid in 1994, far from the sea.

Luckily since I was a child, my life has been linked to the sea and the world of underwater photography, learning and traveling with my father, who has also been an underwater photographer for more than 30 years.

My life is the sea, my passion is the sea and my obsession is the sea.

My aim is no other than to show this incredible and unknown world with the aim of creating awareness to protect it.

Despite being an engineer specialized in renewable energies, a commercial diver and a diving instructor, having won several of the most important underwater photography competitions since 2012 (being the youngest to win the World and European Championships CMAS or the Underwater Photographer of the Year 2022), have allowed me to make a living professionally from this beautiful work.

I have been lucky enough with my young age to visit almost all my dream ecosystems and to photograph all the biggest and most iconic animals from the ocean.
From the Antarctic Peninsula to Svalbard in the Arctic ocean, having photograph the greatest animals like the blue whales, spermwhales and many species of the most impressive sharks; difficult and tiny beigns all around the world; and having experience unique moments never registered by the science before, like 4 years ago the orcas showing us a thresher shark that they had hunted.

Still, after every great moment, I am convinced that there are even many corners of the world that I still don’t know to photograph and a lot of stories that deserve to be told.

Now, as a National Geographic story teller and through my underwater photography and video, I try to tell in all the different ways possible the amazing ocean stories that really surprise me and that can save the future of our oceans by reaching the heart of people.
